What a fantastic wedding we played at the Drake Hotel on 12/4/10! The Grand Ballroom was stunningly decorated in a “winter wonderland” theme by master bridal consultant Frank Andonoplas. It’s always such a pleasure to work with someone as talented as Frank! Check out the videos from the wedding:

We started the band’s “Midwest Tour 2010″ on 11/13/10 in Peoria. We finished on 11/20/10 in Milwaukee. Short tour! We got a really nice thank you from the mother of the bride at our Peoria wedding:

“WOW!!!!!! You weren’t kidding when you said you could make our wedding perfect. We haven’t stopped hearing about the great band. The interaction with the guests, the magnificent voices of the singers, the added horn (great suggestion), the music selection……you have the whole package. Thank you again for everything. Here’s Greg doing a phenomenal job on the Rolling Stones’ Start Me Up at the wedding we played on 10/9/10 at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Chicago. We were pleased to have two of the staff tell us separately that they had never had a party at the Four Seasons with the dance floor so consistently packed! Congratulations to Jill and Matt!

Hotel Intercontinental Wedding 8/21/10

The Peter Hennes Orchestra had the dance floor packed the entire night on 8/21/10 at the Hotel Intercontinental Grand Ballroom in downtown Chicago!

Thank you so much for all you did to make our wedding day such a success! I have never heard so many raves on a wedding band as I have gotten about you – and rightfully so! University Club of Chicago Wedding 3/8/08

We sure had fun at last Saturday’s wedding at the University Club of Chicago! We were in the Michigan room, which is beautifully decorated with wood paneling and ceiling paintings in a sort of Renaissance style. If you’re looking for a venue for your wedding, the University Club is a great choice, and we play weddings there frequently.

The bride and groom chose Our Love is Here to Stay for their bridal dance, followed by The Way You Look Tonight for a combined father/daughter and mother/son dance. Completely switching gears, we invited the rest of the guests to the dance floor with Let’s Get it Started by the Black Eyed Peas, which kicked off three straight hours of continuous music and dancing. At the end of the party, the groom commented to me that not only did their guests have a blast, but we looked like we did too. We always do, and I never have more fun than I do playing with our band!
