One of my old friends from high school got married last October. I saw her again recently and we couldn’t stop talking about the wedding and the band. It was incredible! I am personally more of a guy who likes hard hip hop beats and would usually prefer a DJ over a live band, but I had such a blast with yours that I can’t make that generalization anymore. I loved how the band would seamlessly go from one song to the next, one singer would take over as the lead and the rest would drop back into backup vocals. They played classic wedding songs such as ‘Shout’ and then kicked in the new school with some ‘Gnarls Barkley’ (which had pretty much just come out around then). We were dancing with them, they had us doing some soul train, what more could you ask for? I was very impressed and had one of the greatest times of my life. Thanks so much. For every amazing comment we received about the wedding, we received two for the band. You are thirteen amazing people that really come together and put on a show that is nothing less than perfect. You should be very proud. My only regret is that you aren’t local. We truly appreciate you all coming to town for our wedding. We wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. 6/16/07. We had a great wedding at the Union League Club in Chicago thanks in a large part to the Peter Hennes Orchestra. Initially we were a bit tentative about booking solely over the internet. We truly lucked out to find Peter and his band. The sound was awesome. Great vocals, good lighting and they looked very professional. Right out of the gate they had a great mix of music. In addition they double checked the pronunciation of the entire wedding party and took control of the flow from the initial announcement right to the end. The dance floor was packed. Everyone at our wedding commented or called the next day to express their accolades. We only wish we could do it again. Great night! Many thanks to the entire band.

Thank you so much for helping make our wedding night a truly remarkable event. The Peter Hennes Orchestra kept our dance floor packed with guests from beginning to end. Some guests even thought a DJ was playing at first since the music quality was so great, and they were surprised to hear it was a live orchestra! Your range pleased all from ballroom to Black Eyed Peas. We loved the music and our guests can not stop talking about it either!
We were a bit worried about the sound quality in the Chicago Cultural Center but your sound technicians did a fantastic job, and no echo could be found throughout the hall.

Our daughter was married on September 1, 2007. We had music for cocktails, dinner and then the band for non-stop dancing. It was a fantastic party! The quality of the musicians and singers exceeded our expectations. My daughter and her husband were thrilled as were we and all of our gyrating friends and relatives of ALL ages. The sound quality was fabulous, the musicality was extremely high and, above all, it was FUN and a celebration. The band was even able to adapt to a guest musician and singer! We could not have asked for more. My second daughter suggested that we do this every year.
